This video gives a straightforward run-down on how to grow gourmet and medicinal mushrooms on logs. Growing mushrooms on logs is great because it requires very little equipment and maintenance. The downside of growing on logs is that it takes months for the mushrooms to fruit, but the log will fruit for many years once fully colonized.
