About Us
The Mother Mycelium Story
Mother Mycelium is more than just another mushroom farm—we’re cultivating a community rooted in the belief that fungi hold the power to regenerate and maintain the health of both individuals and the planet. Our mission is to go beyond simply providing products; we aim to empower you with the tools, knowledge, and inspiration to cultivate your own food and medicine, and harness fungi for innovative restoration projects.
Our offerings include everything from growing supplies and high-quality cultures to hands-on mushroom cultivation classes and guided foraging adventures designed for all skill levels. We also offer a thoughtfully curated collection of merchandise that brings the magic of fungi into everyday life.
Whether you’re a beginner looking to start your first mushroom project or a seasoned mycophile ready to dive into more advanced mycology, we are here to support your journey. Join us in harnessing the incredible potential of fungi to restore ecosystems, rejuvenate health, and foster sustainable living for generations to come.

Meet Chris
Howdy mushroom folks! I’m Chris, a full-time mushroom farmer and forager dedicated to sharing the magical world of mycology with others. I started Mother Mycelium to create a space where knowledge, community, and sustainability could thrive together. I truly believe fungi hold the key to many of the challenges we face as individuals and as a planet, and I hope to connect as many people as possible with the fungal world and its powerful relationship to nature. The fungal world brings me so much joy and I have a burning passion to share it with anyone and everyone-one spore at a time!
